About HPA
It started in a friend's clinic.
We saw an industry being underserved, got obsessed with the numbers, and found the one bottleneck nobody was fixing. That's the whole story of HPA.
How HPA was born
Before HPA, I came up in the corporate world, inside one of the fastest-growing startups in Malaysia, where everything ran on numbers. KPIs, dashboards, cost per result, being relentlessly data-driven. That was just how you operated. So when I helped out a friend who runs a dental clinic, I did the only thing I knew how to do: I looked at his numbers.
What I found stuck with me. Here was a brilliant clinician working incredibly hard, but the business was running on guesswork. And he wasn't alone. The more clinics I saw, the clearer it got: healthcare and wellness businesses had been left behind. The only real help available to them was a marketing agency to make content and run creative. Useful, but it rarely answered the question that actually matters: are more patients walking through the door?
What they'd never had access to was the discipline big corporations take for granted: a clear view of their own numbers, and the systems to act on them. So I built that for my friend first. The moment the data was on the table, the real problem was obvious. It was never reach or creative. It was conversion. Patients were already raising their hands, and they were slipping through the cracks, one slow reply and one unanswered price question at a time.
That's how HPA was born. Now we give healthcare and wellness businesses what used to be reserved for the big players: a clear view of their numbers, and the system to turn the patients they already pay for into booked, treated revenue. So you stop guessing, stop letting enquiries slip away, and finally see exactly what every ringgit of marketing brings back.
